Allied Care Experts Medical Center-Tacloban (ACEMC-Tacloban) is a private health care institution constructed in a 2,153 sq.m property with a total floor area of 14,026 sqm., located at Barangay 78 Marasbaras, Tacloban City, Philippines. It was conceptualized in 2014, months after the onslaught of Super Typhoon Yolanda by a group of doctors who organized themselves to bring together the hope and dreams of building a State of the Art Facility in Region 8.
The 10-storey ACEMC-Tacloban will house a 152- bed hospital which will provide healthcare services to the community in Tacloban City and several surrounding municipalities of Samar, Biliran, and Leyte representing a catchment area of approximately 4,440,150 people (POPCEN 2015).
The proponents of ACEMC-Tacloban are composed of 50 founders who are competent and fully qualified medical specialists and experts in hospital operations. It is headed by 15 Board of Directors who are elected yearly by the Stockholders during the Annual Stockholders’ Meeting.
It has several departments and special services which include the following: Department of Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Surgery, Clinical Pathology, Radiology, Infection Control Department, Emergency Department, Pulmonology Department, Out-Patient Department, Pharmacy/Therapeutics Department, Central Supply Department, Administrative Department, and Billing Department. The Specialized Services available include the Poison and Bite Center, Hema-Oncology-Rheumatology- Allergology- Immunology Center (HORIA Center), Concierge Medicine, Center for Diabetic Care, Hemodialysis Center, ENT & Eye Center, Rehabilitation Medicine, and Wellness Center.
Our strategy is to offer convenience and quality service as a “One-Stop-Shop” with cutting-edge technology, and complete laboratory and imaging facilities such as MRI, CT SCAN, Digital X-Ray, Mammogram, 2D-Echo, Physical, and Rehabilitation Facilities.
